Hi, I’m Melissa.

I take an integrative approach using mindfulness, trauma informed therapy, grief informed treatment, IFS, CBT, and other modalities to provide each client with the treatment that best fits their needs. With a goal of improving overall well-being, I partner with clients to develop healthy boundaries, improve communication, and adopt effective grounding techniques. I approach each client with an openness to learn what values and beliefs hold the most importance for them, and strive to approach each session with respect and compassion.

 

I have additional training in somatic interventions, trauma focused and culturally sensitive approaches, and sex therapy. I encourage clients to speak openly about what they value most and what they want to achieve through therapy. I strive to make the process a collaborative experience where clients feel empowered to transform their lives and maintain positive change.

 

I believe psychotherapy should be accessible to everyone regardless of income level, and I am happy to provide an income based sliding scale option for clients who could not afford treatment otherwise. Mental health should not be a luxury. I believe it is an integral part of each person’s overall wellness. Please reach out for more information.
